One of the great evolutions of the 21st century is lipofilling, or fat grafting. It consists of harvesting areas where fat is in excess for the strategic, delicate and artistic implantation in various areas of the face.
The aim is not to change any features but to restore the contours lost over the years.
As the most common stem cell procedure in adults, it has become a fundamental tool in our clinical practice for three-dimensional rejuvenation. We classify types of lipofilling procedures as follows:
Minilipofilling – applied to the chin region, cheekbones, lower jaw contour and temporal region
Microlipofilling – applied to the eyelids
Nanolipofillling – superficial skin rejuvenation technique
Lipofilling adapts to a wide range of situations, from complete facial harmonization to isolated wrinkles, including isolated areas of the face such as the lips.
